Androsthenis Thasou announced the acquisition of Sophia Dipla, a 20-year-old basketball player, as the club continues building its competitive roster. Dipla brings experience from multiple levels of Greek women's basketball, having played for various clubs including developmental programs at Kronos Kalamarias between 2015 and 2017, followed by stints with Atromitos Triadi and Piraeus Experimental teams. Most recently, she competed in the A2 women's division with CHANTH during the 2024-2025 season. The signing represents part of a broader recruitment drive by the Thasian club, which has made multiple personnel moves to strengthen its squad for upcoming competition.
