The Kavala branch of Doctors of the World organized educational and preventive health activities in the villages of Pigi and Chrysochori as part of a broader Public Health and Social Care Week coordinated by the Eastern Macedonia and Thrace Regional Authority. The campaign, conducted in partnership with the Kavala Health Directorate, aims to increase awareness of health issues and disease prevention among at-risk demographic groups. Volunteers conducted outreach in both communities, delivering information and resources to residents. The initiative reflects a coordinated regional effort to strengthen public health messaging across the Kavala area. The organization continues its work providing medical support and health education to communities throughout Greece.
