Euroports, in partnership with Greek group GEK TERNA, has formally opened its first terminal in Greece at the Philippos B commercial port in Kavala. The facility spans close to 180,000 square metres and is equipped to handle minerals, fertilisers, agribulk and general cargo, with two quays and a RoRo ramp for wheeled cargo. Company executives said the move marks Kavala's entry into a new era as a logistics hub for Northern Greece, with the port positioned to serve growing trade demand across the Balkans.
