Kavala's city centre is preparing for "Kavala Summer Shopping Night 2026" on Thursday, 27 August, an evening combining extended shopping hours with music and entertainment. Shops across the centre are expected to stay open into the night, with a live set from singer Elena Konsta among the entertainment planned for the evening. The event, organised as part of the city's Open Mall retail promotion scheme, is aimed at giving both residents and late-summer visitors a reason to spend an evening browsing the city's shops before the tourist season winds down.
