The harbour of Skala Kallirachis on Thassos hosted the 11th edition of the Port Festival on Friday, 7 August 2026, with popular Greek singer Peggy Zina headlining the evening. The festival, one of several summer music events organised across Thassos, drew strong interest from both island residents and the large number of visitors on the island during the peak season. Similar municipal events have run through the summer on Thassos, including tribute concerts to composer Grigoris Bithikotsis staged at Limenaria beach and the courtyard of the island's Archaeological Museum.
