Although the tourism season started slowly and arrived later than usual, the sector ultimately exceeded initial projections. A notable uptick in domestic visitors from Greece provided an unexpected boost to local hospitality businesses. Additionally, tourists from Serbia and Turkey have emerged as significant contributors to the island's visitor numbers this year, helping offset earlier seasonal uncertainties and supporting the broader tourism economy.
